A fashion trend, a revival from the ’90s, the Choker is BACK… and I love it!

It’s possible to choose it from many brands, types and, of course, from many colours: fabric (velvet, lace, bandana…), plastic, leather, metal… with charms and/or studs or not…

You can layer them or you can add a necklace.

I think the choker is an accessory that adds a different mood to the look… don’t you?

So… be romantic, dressy, grunge, rock as you desire…!!!

In these pictures I’m wearing some of my favourite (at the moment).

My personal selection:

From the top of the picture:

– HRH Collection black lace

– Catbird “Sweet Nothing” in yellow gold

– HRH Collection Shining Star in who’s the fairest

– Vintage white gold

– HRH Collection black lace

Wow! The choker is really gorgeous! Love the design of the first one!

  3. 21 February 2017 / 2:19

Funny, I didn’t think it ever left or that I was a fashion icon LOL. I have been wearing my favorites forever.

It’s a cute fashion accessory. Just dislike how stores are charging an arm and a leg for them. You can make lace chokers easily on your own. Don’t forget to use those Michaels and Joann’s coupons.

My friends wear chokers a lot and she looks fab every day. I however can’t wear anything around my neck, i hate the feeling. So unfortunately, this is one fashion trend i will have to give a miss.

      I understand this so well!
Some days it’s the same for me…can’t wear nothing at my neck!

  6. 21 February 2017 / 11:02

most of the people don’t realize that choker was used in 90’s. teenager thinks that its a new thing. i like choker. gives you a romantic elegant look.

My bestie has been ROCKIN’ the choker for the past year – looks amazing on her 🙂

  8. 21 February 2017 / 16:28

My wife had one with her Halloween costume this year (saloon girl) and she wore it awesome! I think they add some extra flare to the outfit for sure!

My daughter likes wearing these in the lace, sort of Victorian style and I think they look great on her. I myself can’t stand having something tight on my neck like that. I do think that they look really great on on people with delicate necks.

chokers are chic. Love to wear them with off-shoulders. it has a retro look. Plus you can create a gothic style with it.

    • 21 February 2017 / 21:23

Of course!I love to wear them with tops or with something that left my shoulder bone out!
Yes they are perfect for gothic style❤️

I have been pretty happy to see the return of the choker, too – my teen loves them, which I think is hilarious. However, I have limited her from wearing the long wrap-around ones … that just seems like begging for strangulation, lol.

I mean, I guess some people like that, but she’s just 13. *wink*

What’s funny is that my daughters think this is some clever trend that has just been invented. LOL! Little do they know we’ve wearing them years ago! I never was a fan of the style but admit that I love this vintage look a lot! That lace is everything

  25. 24 February 2017 / 17:45

Wow! The vintage-overlook is so <3 <3 <3 …This reminds me of my choir group (when I was in the Philippines), when our ladies wore choker in one of our performances. But this one is cool.
